Catrin Hopkins, 16,
Catrin is originally from Caernarfon and is studying Psychology, Health and Care and Photography in the sixth form in Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen. My interest in singing started at a young age but I never thought I would have the opportunity to take part in something like Talent Cymru. Winning the competition has opened doors for me to do what I want to do in the future and I am very grateful to everyone who gave their time to the project. Working with Bryn Fôn a'r Band has been an amazing experience and I couldn't have asked for a better mentor. I must also thank Gwyn and Mary who were behind it all – I hope the competition opens doors for more people in Wales and that I can keep on doing what I enjoy most!
